About Bisq:
Official site: https://bisq.network/
Official Github: https://github.com/bisq-network/bisq/#readme
Official Github download page: https://github.com/bisq-network/bisq/releases/latest
Video showing how trade is done inside a Bisq app: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjmpAq9RUXM
Installing:
Use download page above to download Bisq. On Linux Debian/Ubuntu these were my steps (version it it would be outdated for you likely):
curl https://bisq.network/pubkey/E222AA02.asc | gpg --import
wget https://github.com/bisq-network/bisq/releases/download/v1.9.14/Bisq-64bit-1.9.14.deb
wget https://github.com/bisq-network/bisq/releases/download/v1.9.14/Bisq-64bit-1.9.14.deb.asc
gpg --digest-algo SHA256 --verify Bisq-64bit-1.9.14.deb.asc|grep
You should see "Good signature from "Alejandro García" and it means that you have original file that has not been tampered with, so that means we can proceed by running:
sudo dpkg -i Bisq-64bit-1.9.14.deb
Now I was able to find the Bisq launcher in my application list.
Some important details:
New accounts has limit on amount of traded cryptocurrency: https://bisq.wiki/Account_limits
Limit depends on a payment method of choice. Payment method where is higher risk of scamming (payment charge-back, reversion) are lower limits: https://bisq.wiki/Payment_methods#Fiat_payment_methods
In case of a fraud attempt or acting against rules, victim may get back money if certain conditions are met: https://bisq.wiki/Table_of_penalties
In case the funds received thanks to Bisq are confiscated as illegal (possibly very rare case) then report the user who sent you money on Matrix, to user @pazza83:matrix.org
