Hi there, my method is to discover topic i need to write article on. Then i find 1-3 phrasses which people search around this topic, then i mention them 1-2 times in article, some of them in bold text.
Main phrasse should be also in article title, and maybe in article sub-titles. When writing article in wordpress, im using Platinum SEO plugin and im also entering manually the article meta tags.

Make your article at least 400 words. Put your main keyword in your title tag and in your article title. Start and end your article with your keyword (I bold the keyword the first time it appears if it's not the first word in the article). Don't "keyword stuff" and make sure the article reads nicely. Apparently, the meta tag description doesn't matter that much; I try to write something (max 160 characters) that will entice the reader to read further, sometimes deliberately making a sentence fragment. Google doesn't always use the metatag you provide; their algorithm sometimes picks alternate text, but most of the time they use what I provide.
